About the Author
G.L Powell writes stories of mystery and horror, in which extraordinary things happen to everyday people. His first two horror novels are forthcoming from Titan Books.
In 2026, he co-edited the horror anthology Of Dread, Decay, and Doom for Stars and Sabers Publishing.
He also writes science fiction as Gareth L. Powell, under which name he has written more than twenty novels, novellas, and collections, many of which have won or been shortlisted for awards.

After a mountain lion kills his estranged alcoholic father, disillusioned San Francisco detective John Tanner heads back to his hometown of Apprehension, Montana for the funeral. But when residents of the little lakeside community start dying and armed men close off the only bridge out of town, Tanner will have to contend with generational trauma, a hostile police chief, the partner he betrayed, and an oncoming blizzard if he's going to save as many people as possible before the entire town gets wiped from the map.
